This isn't WORKing

I work on BYU campus in a little building that no one ever goes in--the Maeser Building. It's been here since 1911 and it's pretty neat, but it just doesn't get used very often. Here's the thing...I work with some people:

Karen-the lingerer. When you think your conversation is over (even if IT IS over), she just lingers around, silently, awkwardly, as if to say, "I'm still here if you have anything you forgot to say to me." Also, she has a British accent.

Ashley-uses the elevator to get down ONE story; never, ever makes eye contact; is a one upper and is also a tattle-tale.

Rory-VERY interesting old man. Majored in costume design ( a true thespian); sings when he speaks. I always thought he was kind of cooky until he went to the bathroom to brush his teeth after lunch the other day.

Then I realized we have more in common than I thought.

That'll teach me.
