While I was neglecting my blog, I went to Minnesota (See Dev? It's a state.)

And found out I got into this place:
On my trip I:
Got on 5 different planes, but only left the ground in 3 of them.
Eventually ended up in this place:
Got on 5 different planes, but only left the ground in 3 of them.
Eventually ended up in this place:
Stayed on the 20th floor of a hotel where the elevators were as fast as race cars.
(See how the number changed faster than my camera could take the picture?)
Put down this floor in a 10X10 booth
It took me more than 5 hours.

Eventually it looked like this: AKA awesome

Drove out to Wisconsin just because my parents wanted to help me fulfill my dream of visiting all 50 states.

Went to the Mall of America.
PS It's not all it's crackedup to be.

Swam with sharks.

And found out I got into this place:

BYU JERUSALEM.
I have wanted to go there SO BAD since November and I have been saving every penny to be able to go. I applied in April and I found out 2 weeks later that I was #5 on the waiting list. But I knew I was going to go. The lady from the Jeru office called me when we were on our way to Minnesota. And my mom started FREAKING out. Jumping up and down and yelling, "You're going to Israel!!"
In the airport.
With lots of people watching.
She was more excited than I was because apparently she didn't think I would move off of that waiting list. So I paid my 1st payment three days later and I am officially heading to Jerusalem on August 31st.
Now I just have to come up with $9,000 more dollars...

I'm so glad you FINALLY posted something on your blog...I check it like everyday almost...I'm SOOO glad you're going to Israel, and I'm even MORE happy that you're not leaving until the 30! :) ...right? well, you better not leave before the 25th of Aug. That'd be the worst.
ReplyDeleteTALIA! ok, a) i love your blog, and i will be reading it more often. b) i LOVE that you went to minnesota, and i agree the MOA is not all it's cracked up to be. it's too large and takes way too long to get from store to store. also, "Nickelodeon Land" used to be called "Camp Snoopy" and it was way cooler. and c) i just love you :)
